yea exactly, and also, like, there is a ceiling on gambling. I realize it's grown over the years due to increased access, but everyone in the US has had lotteries for decades and it's still a niche who self-selects into them. specific gambling appeals to specific people (sports betting appeals to people who love sports) but idk, and maybe this is me being raised in the south around a lot of religious people but, there is some sizable niche of people who are simply unaddressable. also my bias/bg, but the poorest, most desperate people I knew were the ones that bought lottery tickets, but only to a point (when they got really desperate, they picked food over scratch offs mostly).

I don't think gambling is going anywhere. but to assume pump.fun will sit upon a hundred year empire bc they've had 3 good quarters ... idk. I'm old enough to remember when everyone thought TBCs was _THE_ future of social from FriendTech. And OS seemed pretty unstoppable too. Speculation is probably forever, specific grifts age like milk.

yeah I feeel like you know better than nearly anyone re: what memes are and aren't, I felt dumb commenting on it as if you didn't, but like you said, most people think repeating a word enough times makes it real whereas it's the opposite, it's the actions, the execution, that makes the meme real. compuslive reminder since ct forgets it regularly.

This is great. I'd only add, these are not memes, this reputation is based on consistent follow-through. Disney doesn't meme you to think it's magically, they produced 100+ years of literal movie magic. Same with Apple and Innovation. There is no shortcut to brand premium.
