+against. I do know the team and experience is impressive but not sure that it achieves goals that they set out in the proposal- what happens once you purchase the toy? How do you onboard? I have too many questions.

+for this prop is unique. this isn't about onboarding but making nouns a character brand. David is one of the best in the field, and having him pushing for two years toward that goal is a no-brainer

+abstain It’s a tall ask, and have questions about David attending the events/trade-shows in support of his existing IP. He’s spoken to how ugly dolls is about to have a large speciality push in the coming years. So it’s not exactly clear to me what’s paying for what. I understand this and his IP are separate businesses, but there is significant overlap in activity, resources, manufacturing,etc. It’s great exposure for nouns, but ultimately it comes down to if nouns wants to be a character brand.

+for This is a huge win if it works! We talk about “keep nouns weird” and this is a really adorable weirdo that is already a sold out success at Loft. We should let David run his “the right small” game play that he is famous for with Nouns. Building in the open like he has been with the Studio1 sofubi and more. Let Horvath Cook!
