Users like threads (not the app…). And higher character counts under a ‘show more’ expansion (or worse, a redirect *shudder*), is a form of solution to threads…? Not sure, engagement data would be good to see. But, I don’t think threads or expansion are good solution.

Both of these are using the platforms ‘wrong’. But if people use them this way, what is the solution for that use? An alternate blog with rich comments, was Tumblr right?
