right now I use github kind of like a cms, just push my commits once I've written and it's live in a few seconds.

Yep! We have a GitHub action that allows exactly this

the only other hangup is that I'm already paying Vercel for other sites like MoxieScout and streme.fun, so there's a bit of not wanting to pay for one more thing that does the same thing.

I don't see an obvious solution here (other than "port everything"), but curious as to your thoughts

Are you using server side functionality with Vercel or are the other sites static?
