chat what’s the best biography/autobiography you’ve ever read? 

my mum has a crazy collection of them it makes buying presents for her super easy

its hard to pick but i have given 5 stars on goodreads to finding me by viola davis and down the drain by julia fox 

i wanna read steve jobs’s one & shoe dog too just haven’t got round to it yet and open to some recs

Robert Caro biographies are america centric but incredibly epic

oh nice! Do you have any recs in particular, i googled him but not sure which one to start with are they mainly about politicians?

The power broker is a single volume about the person who made modern New York city into what it is. The Lyndon Johnson books are a huge set, about the US president.

They're both about politics, but Caro is such a master of his craft that the books are more a true look into a human life, geography, family, and society than simply politics. (I'm not really into politics but I think these books are exceptional)
