TIL chatGPT can analyze my raw workout files and compare them to the plan it created for me, making future adjustments to training. At a glance, seems much more useful than Strava AI. cc: @ahn.eth, @alor , @fiveoutofnine.eth , @tombornal - wonder if any of you have tried this?

what's the proposed training? and with your experience, do you find it to be worth following? have always been a "vibe runner" myself, even at peak, tried to keep things simple - didn't really think about pace so much as run long and try to take as few days off as possible to increase strength and get used to fatigue but i guess maybe it's worth trying something more structured now as i'm older?

I want to hit 4:2x for 1500 in October for this year's race, so gave it my goal, my current training (including wanting to keep my streak), last year's time, etc and told it to figure something out to get me there. Had it export to CSV so I can manage in google sheets. o3 seems to be good at stuff like this

my impression is that it's "good enough" and certainly more likely than my normal schedule to help me get where I want to go. Am dreading the 71s 10x400s though

yea, re: getting back into it, i've found that it's not hard to actually go out and run, but getting "fast" again is just a totally different mindset to my life now and i guess i just don't want to hurt that bad anymore πŸ˜‚
