We are thrilled to announce finalists for the Moxie Retro1 Grants Program! 

214 applications were submitted. After a rigorous review process by the Moxie Experts Council consisting of 32 peer-nominated Farcasters:

107 projects earned grants! 

29 Finalists were chosen and now proceed to the DAO voting stage. The finalists will compete for a share of 172,187,500 MOXIE allocated for Finalists grants, min. 2,055,288 each

26 Semi-Finalists: These projects will receive 53,437,500 MOXIE in recognition of their innovative ideas = 2,055,288 each

52 Runners-Up: These projects will be awarded 11,875,000 MOXIE = 228,365 each

DAO Voting for the finalists will take place soon & publicly on snapshot

Voting power is as follows:
Moxie holders = 1 vote
Fan Token holders = 2 votes
Moxie LP = 2 votes
Locked Fan Tokens = 3 votes

If you do not want to vote, you can delegate your voting power to someone else.

Story (1/5): The Idea

The original idea for FanSpace came out of a conversation with @maretus and @wake. 

But since nearly all my FC time goes into @moxiescout, I wasn’t actually planning on making anything. 

So it was destined to remain a fun idea until @harios came into the group chat for the /fbi Moxiethon looking for a teammate. 

I already had an entry with Moxiescout transactions, but I love working with great designers and they had a hot portfolio and were persistent in asking for a teammate, so I took them up on the offer and pitched me idea.

And we were off!

I don't know if they remember, but @maretus.eth and @degen-chad played important roles in the development of the FanSpace (myspace throwback) frame, which was also part of this application.

Maretus was the genesis of the idea, and degen-chad's profile picture not working correctly despite (and him being in so many people's Top 8) is what gave me the idea for including Tom from Myspace as a placeholder image.

Pretty sure that decision 10xd the virility.
