If we were to work on channels as a developer lego, what should we improve? Decentralizing existing primitive doesn’t drive network growth. So would have to offer something new / compelling.

imo network growth via channels won't come from marginal enhancements to the twitter-like experience Some probably bad (but perhaps slightly creative) ideas: What would it take for channels to... - get organic quora/reddit searches? I still often find myself googling "best headphone 2024 reddit" etc. - get chosen by non-FC native content creators as a place to start their online community (instead of discourse, telegram group, subreddit, google classroom, discourse) One naive intuition is that the ability to put financial incentives in place of or in addition to status-seeking behavior (e.g., Quora q's answered) will drive network growth via channels. As to how what the developer lego to do these is? I'm not sure yet.

@dwr.eth - this is also an excellent point. For some reason, only main profiles are being indexed by Google. If we could fix that so individual casts and their replies were indexed, we could pick up a shitload more traffic from longtail Google searches.
