I shared a few bits and pieces of how we built FanSpace to be a viral frame, but I'd also like to share some lessons with the /success channel. If you haven't read the story yet, I recommend going through that first. Once you're ready, here are four lessons... Lesson #1: Trust Your Taste As @kenjiquest says, follow the scent of virality. In this case, Myspace was all the rage when I was a teenager, so I knew it intimately enough to make a frame for it that I thought might hit. I also know that FC has a fair amount of people around my age who would appreciate the nostalgia trip (and who might have a bit of Myspace trama 😬) Lesson #2: Be persistent @harios couldn’t find any teammates initially, but continued to ask around and share their profile in the group chat. Eventually, they DMd me asking if we could work together. I asked them for a bit of time to think and then pitched the idea. Had @harios not been persistent in following up with me, this likely never would have happened. (1/2)

Lesson #3: Have Fun Adding Tom was a way to make the frame more fun. There’s no real value in it, but I thought it might deepen the nostalgia trip for the FC users who happen upon it. Same thing with the share text. I grew up in Southern California so coming up with a bit of drama/fun in the copy was what would make it share-worthy. Lesson 4/4: Find Great Teammates @harios did an amazing job with the visual design despite not knowing much about Myspace or even Windows XP. I did the coding, but there’s no chance this would have come out without them. You should follow them and if you have the need, hire them to help you with frame design work. (2/2)

Um currently building unique frame but unfortunately I don’t have coding skills. Um using cursor ai but not giving me expected results. Frame display on debugger but buttons not responding. You used frame.js and moxie api right?
