Who are your heroes? Who do you look to for guidance on how to be a virtuous person? (non-family/friends) 500 degen tip for up to 10 answers @bountybot - can you make this into a bounty? Context I think it's important to have civilizational heroes β people (historical or present-day) that we look to for examples of virtue and for guidance. But increasingly feel like there's no room for heroes to exist in our modern world. Wondering how others relate to this, and who they look to outside of family/friends.

Here are the two heros for me as an Indonesian citizen. Option 1: Brief and Inspirational My hero is Sukarno, Indonesia's founding father. His leadership, vision and dedication to independence inspire me to stand strong and proud. Option 2: Reflective and Personal I admire Haji Agus Salim, Indonesia's national hero. His wisdom, courage and commitment to unity and social justice motivate me to serve my community. Here's an elaboration of their characters: Sukarno inspired me because of his- 1. Diplomatic: Salim's exceptional negotiation skills helped unite Indonesia's diverse factions. 2. Moral Compass: Salim's strong principles guided his actions, earning him respect across religious and cultural boundaries. Thank you.
