Builders on Farcaster... What values, principles, or beliefs guide your work? Alternatively, how do you relate to crypto ideals (however you think about those)? What resonates most deeply with you? (if you're not a builder, would hugely appreciate you tagging someone you think might have a thoughtful answer, or linking content that you resonate with) @bountybot can you set things up so that I can give 500 degen in tips for up to ten answers?

A mix of thoughts here: Can't say if it's completely established principle, I think there is a spectrum, but to this day speculation doesn't drive what I'm building, despite when you realise one of very few things which can make you money in crypto, including Farcaster, is speculation! Hence it's important to understand what is the game you're playing as a builder and how long you can play it. Ultimately, it depends on 4 things: 1) problem urgency & timing 2) quality of the solution 3) perseverance 4) community/support from fellow builders, as well ecosystem specific leaders (e.g. farcaster team) Initially, I believed that in web3 you should maximize composability, today this ideal has shifted from requirements as well proposition perspective. Public goods narrative is overrated, majority here to make money, not give away! Decentralisation and ownership will always lose to usability, and not as needed as thought earlier.

It sounds like you're pragmatic and utility-focused when it comes to product. I hadn't considered #4 as a key ingredient explicitly, but makes sense given the power of FC for getting products off the ground. Appreciate you sharing! $500
