I think it's ok to take it as a hint, but not necessarily a hint that you shouldn't interact ever.

Better to consider who you're interacting with, how you're interacting, what they care about, and how busy they are.

Top accounts get 1000+ notifications, so you might get missed. But if you have something particularly valuable to say, I think say it.

Definitely, agreed. I'm not suggesting that you never engage with anyone. Really, just that people use common sense which seems to be lost in a lot of this.

I think I have about a 5% hit rate between Dan and V, but I'm ok with that for now.
