Real Vision CEO Raul Pal believes that the crypto market is on the verge of a banana singularity. According to him, the cryptocurrency industry is currently experiencing dynamics similar to the growth chart of banana prices.
The first phase of the digital asset market maturation began in November 2024 with a sharp jump in the value of Bitcoin and other digital coins. At the moment, the industry is going through a period of consolidation, which in its characteristics resembles the 2017 cycle, Raul Pal believes.
However, this respite will not last long, and the next stage is the “banana singularity”, which is an altcoin season, when all coins will experience massive growth. This will be followed by a longer consolidation.
