I think this is the wrong question / showing she doesn’t understand how these bots work

At the end of the day, most of them run on their own server and just use the X thread as context for an LLM prompt that outputs a reply

Elon can’t stop the code that’s running them - the threat for each account is people blocking them / demoting them in the algo

@mikadontlouz It would be effectively impossible, since they interact with websites just like users, and language models can’t tell the difference between a human and a language model

They already have tools for dealing with this. Block the bots you think are annoying, and they will be…

Maybe they change the ToS and don’t allow bot accounts at all? Possible, but unlikely, as they’re driving core metrics

Tbf, I have no idea what they could / couldn’t do, so clearly pontificating here

The method of which she said the bots would be removed is wrong (and you are right) but my perception of the tweet was her asking about Elon and censorship resistance - which I feel that Twitter does not have
