ten different reasons, but who is gonna pay to post a meme? also attribution is nearly impossible. and enforcement is nearly impossible.

i don't think anyone would pay to post a meme, but i could see next-gen social networks (like fc) subsidizing that cost on behalf of their users attribution becomes easier in that world, and so does enforcement

more explicit attribution with minting/collecting experience like what Titles is doing has a chance imo, but for the vast majority of media, I don’t see a path for effective attribution. internet is too fragmented
