Here’s a good example of unnecessarily negative. 

There’s valid feedback here—you’re not doing a good enough job highlighting all of the developers in the ecosystem / perception of picking favorites—without resorting to a bunch of drivel.

You wouldn’t speak like this to someone you’ve never met in-person, so why do it on the internet?

The unfortunate truth is that *there are* people who would talk like this to someone they've never met.

Reminds me of the quote: “When someone shows you who they are, believe them”

What they don't realize is that you guys have zero incentive to play favorites and a massive incentive to promote all the great stuff being built on the network.
