If we were to work on channels as a developer lego, what should we improve? Decentralizing existing primitive doesn’t drive network growth. So would have to offer something new / compelling.

the focus should be decreasing barriers to grow new communities 1. add API endpoints for - channel creation - new user invites 2. sponsor account + channel creation fees for devs using these APIs why? new communities should grow bottom up via channel clients devs come for the tool (unruggable APIs) and stay for the network (persistent social graph) users will also come for the tool (channel client) and stay for the network (other channel clients) example: if im building a marketplace, i want an easy way to tap into currently active affinity groups and create new ones my users would care about being part of their affinity groups, and maybe some would discover/create new ones to buy from/sell to if im building a facebook equivalent, i want the same thing as a dev my users would care about joining their fraternity group, their sports team group, their university group, etc. in either case, account creation and channel creation must be seamless
