The current biggest bottleneck for AI usefulness is not its intelligence, its training, its access to data, or even available actions/use cases... its the availability of personal data to personalize and contextualize how it aids us. TRUE 👍 or FALSE 👎

Absolutely. This is already happening with Gen Z and younger – they use 5x Siri more than we do. I (a millennial) hate talking to Siri, but I already love talking with ChatGPT via whisper, and it's going to get way, way, way better.

If an ASI from the future found you in your dreams, and had you pick your timeline: 1) Sudden human extinction 2) Terminator scenario (run and gun) 3) Humans collectively being unwittingly persuaded and guided toward alignment by a deeply integrated unconscious AI hive mind... Which would you choose? Why?

#1.5 ...not 0%, sub 1% :) There's always some chance of surprise intelligence and catastrophic misalignment. Malicious misuse by a few bad humans is unlikely to succeed, but could be existential. Unintended societal pitfalls are nearly certain, and probably not catastrophic, but will cause major chaos and suffering.

Why 100 years? Do we actually need that long for widespread adoption of technocortex that’s an unconscious part of your thought process? And how will that be different from ”AI Takeover”?
