Maybe global-south nations who will be most hit by climate change will start threatening to do this unilaterally; even if other techniques are ultimately better, perhaps they need the push to get to the finish line

I kinda think climate engineering is our only way out of this mess. People and capitalism love convenience too much, so here we are.

I think people love capitalism so much that's why we've engineered the climate change narrative, so that (transnational corporations and wealthy elites) can tax the most abundant element on earth and make money from it. Good luck convincing the poorest people on the planet not to burn carbon.
