With due respect to @dwr.eth @v @woj.eth , I would be happy to hear your thoughts about this idea: It would be incredibly exciting if one of Farcaster's clients, like Warpcast, integrated Bitcoin's Lightning Network for payments. Here are a few key reasons why I think this would be a game-changer:

1.Bitcoin as the ultimate global money: If Bitcoin payments were integrated into a widely-used social media platform like Farcaster, it would benefit both the platform and its users. (This has already been implemented in the Nostr social network—so why not Farcaster?) Such an integration could significantly boost Farcaster's user base by attracting crypto enthusiasts, Bitcoiners, and even regular users. 2.Bitcoin is a major advantage on its own: Combining a decentralized, user-owned social media platform like Farcaster with decentralized, censorship-resistant money like Bitcoin creates a perfect synergy. Together, they embody the philosophy of decentralization and empower communities in a truly meaningful way. (Bitcoin is the only truly decentralized money.) This integration could set Farcaster apart as a leader in decentralized social media and usher in a new era of freedom for both communication and payments.

I hope lightning does well, but I do not see a lot of people using it today. If adoption of lightning increases, we'd integrate it.

Dude, as a Bitcoin guy, I'd LOVE to see this, but I think realistically, you and I would be the only ones using it. 🤣 There might be some sort of wrapped Bitcoin on an L3 denominated in satoshis that can do this?
