Daily rant: why do people like iMessage? 

- 2nd worst in spam  (after telegram)   
- doesn't sync contacts and some conversations to desktop 
- lets one person have many identities (phone + email) 
- almost no one has pfps 
- tapbacks are boomer

I get why people use it, but why do some people actually prefer it

looks and feels really good, great integration with other apple services (find my, photos, maps, etc), don't have to think about backup, feels less sketchy than third party chat apps
