usually not fully bearish on any tech but I really do not think calorie counting using purely vision is ever going to work. way too much variance in preparation methods that afaik cannot be picked up visually. 200-300 cal. margin of error is the difference between maintenance and gaining 1lb/week

i’d really wish that amazon’s fresh would include total calories purchased with the price of food

they know what i buy, they know the SKU why not enrich the data stream?
