Is there a good product for figuring out personal burn rate? Or should I just export my info as a CSV and do it myself?

Mint.com is okay as far as free products go

I tried using a whole bunch of tools, but eventually abandoned all of them for a custom spreadsheet. Easier to keep track of personal burn rate + all assets

Yep, call your mom and dad and tell them what you spent money on last week. They’ll know whether you’re over or under 😃

https://lunchmoney.app/ is super. Solo founder. Does a great job. Has some crypto awareness. Works. Also paid - the biz model is clear. I really like it

I’ve used Personal Capital, YNAB, Mint, etc. They all suck except for copilot.money That app slaps

I do it in a csv/spreadsheet. It’s a bit annoying to manually aggregate the data but forces you to think through everything

.csv into G Sheets is op vs any neobank/PFM/aggregator. Easily customisable to your individual circumstances and preferences: incentivises simplification.

When you find something, let me know. Linked accounts are helpful but it seems each platform over-complicates it from there. No good substitute for a good old spreadsheet.

Personal capital used to be good but don’t give your real number the repeated sales calls suck. I’m leaning towards a new product like maybe. If you only want track expenses then truebill is a good option.
