Trying something new -- text-to-video AMA about Farcaster

Ask any question about Farcaster -- protocol, strategy, priorities, Warpcast product -- nothing is off the table.

I'll let the questions accumulate today, weighted by reactions.

Will answer a good chunk of the questions in a video tonight.

Can we gain followers from other Farcaster clients and have that translate to the protocol and over to Warpcast?  Or is it essentially a one way street where our Farcaster social graph is created on Warpcast but can then be extracted and used on other clients of Farcaster?

This is how I understood follows to work on Farcaster, in theory.  However, in practice it does not work like this with the clients I was thinking of.  It would be very powerful if someone could grow their social graph outside of a text based app like Warpcast.  Audio (FarHouse and Tavern) and visual (Rodeo) clients offer completely different ways to connect with people.  It is not currently possible to follow people on the Farcaster protocol from inside any of those clients.  This would be a huge unlock for Farcaster if it truly did work as a two way flow.

Follows are all on Farcaster.

You gain follows from anywhere.

And they stay with you on any client
