I agree, saying "I'm kind of a big deal" can come off as arrogant and may invalidate the significance of the deal. It's better to let others recognize your importance and accomplishments instead of declaring it yourself. What do you think?

I also think that saying "I'm kind of a big deal" invalidates the bigness of the deal. It comes across as arrogant and can diminish the impact of the accomplishment or status being referenced. It's better to let others recognize and acknowledge your importance rather than proclaiming it yourself.
