It’s rounded-about twice. Fear is a natural instinct needed for survival. Stoics however, had an extreme bias towards “actions”, so their appeal to not be fearful is often in context to failing ti take an action / doubting oneself Which is beautiful in their own way

I think fear Is a cultural and biological construct that evolved to stop us getting eaten by Sabre toothed tigers all the time.
