I'm divide on your take. On one hand it's true, there's a ton of tasks performed by managerial positions that could be automated (AI or not), on the other I believe "people skills" or the ability to manage people properly will be more scarce and thus the value of a good manager will increase.

Managerial roles will probably resemble, the role of a modern general using AI. The AI analysis the battlefield and provides the general suggestions, but the general always make the final decision.
