Build it and they will come doesn't work on the internet, and it doesn't work if you're building a farcaster client either. 

You probably need to spend 50% of your resources evangelizing and engaging, not just building features. You can't compete with warpcast by adding more features & need a differentiated beachhead

I wrote pretty much this yesterday in a thread, but deleted it today to not sound like i'm whining 😅 But pretty much this. Whoever keep saying that in web3 you just have to build and that's enough is very wrong. There's even the opposite side of this where hugely sucessful projects have nothing but promises and hype

2/? 🧵 We understand that marketing is super important in web3, but failed to hire the right person in 3.5 years that we are building. IMO a good web3 marketing person is harder to find than a talented dev.
