Update #4 - Reviewing My List of Goals Completed [X] Repair Laminate (not vinyl) Floor slats - I did this over the weekend. Tiring, but satisfied with finally repairing it. Small touchups are needed and I can't get lazy on it, but I'm almost done. [X] Repair/Replace Fake Grass - Done [X] Christmas Decorations have been put away Immediate [-] Shred Paper - Started, but there's tons of paper still [ ] Tidy up Office - I'm failing here. -- I'm not trying to hold myself in a strict accountability with these tasks, however there's just something that hit me different where I'm just on a roll. I don't want the house to get cluttered or go unfixed so I just get on top of the issue and try to ride it. Health & Fitness My diet/nutrition is becoming more predictable and that's good. Weekends I leave for indulging or eating out, but I have been good at managing snacks/sweets in between meals during the week. Also just being active with work, dog training, kids after school activities and play time. I'm close to my pre-holiday weight again. My body measurements (waist and weight) have been slowly shrinking and I'm starting to see definition again. My reps for pushups have been gradually going up. I'll probably be able to do 50 pushups in one go by end of this week.

Dog Training It's being going well. Not everyday is swell or perfect, but it's important to keep at it. Training or teaching your dog commands is actually not so much about your dog. It really is more so about yourself. I'm able to communicate more effectively with my dogs. I've been able to test sit-stay, down-stay positions with applying distractions like dropping food everywhere, toys or spraying the water house. Today, I went for our longer walk with our dogs and we encountered a small dog. Maggie (our Pit) was interested, but wasn't pulling me or huffing and puffing. She actually allowed me to control the situation where I was able to easily get her attention and direct her on where to go. This was really good. Her heel training on long walks aren't perfect, but she does walk by myside for some of the walks. She walks by my side, moves forward, I have to tell her to ease up, she'll slow down and then restart the whole thing. Some parts of the walk I give her a break and just let her explore.

Web Dev Work I've been able to prioritize and get things rolling. I have contract work that I need to start picking up on and I've been able to contribute some hours at night and another hour or so in the mornings. During regular work hours, I'm doing less doom scrolling, twitter + chart watching, etc. Been feeling productive and more balance. However, I will be looking for other job opps. I don't know how long the company I'm working for will last with the way they run things, but I'm very fortunate with the salary they pay me. I just don't want to develop on the platform they're trying to migrate to.
