Took one of the new R211A subway cars. Did anyone ever actually sit in the seat? Extremely uncomfortable. If I had to ride the subway everyday for more than 10 minutes, I would be sending letters to the MTA to immediately change seat production back to the old model. Car lighting also horrendous, sunglasses. Old | New

A and C lines right now. There are three new car types “R211A and R211T cars for the subway and R211S cars for the SIR. The R211Ts employ open gangways between cars, allowing passengers to see and walk through the entire length of the train – a feature not present on the subway's other rolling stock”
