Seems like a missed opportunity for Farcaster that all of the resistance libs are leaving Twitter and going to BlueSky. Not complaining though.

The vast majority said they didn’t want algorithmic feeds, and most also want different levels of moderation. Yet they use them because they are happy to pay this price for other benefits. Similarly, they might say they don’t like crypto, but on FC you hardly notice it, and in any event they wouldn’t care if they had other benefits, each content, network, money making potential, network; I think you’ve also noted in the past that people will come for content regardless of their crypto views.

Right, but we've never been able to boostrap enough non-crypto content.

Do you think the reason for that is because: - people who would post this are too anti-crypto - People are already here are incentivised to talk more about crypto - Another reason - Or some reason you haven’t thought of yet

1. Core of the network is cryptonative 2. The dominant set of topics are crypto 3. Most people in crypto not on Farcaster are happy with Twitter 4. People seeking out alternatives to Twitter are on average anti-crypto 5. Most people are not seeking alternative social networks to web2 Thus, we haven't reached escape velocity on content. Need to figure out what makes grow within crypto.

Kudos for having a very realistic and ruthless (in a good way) view on this!
