Anyone who is excited about the Bitcoin ETF should re-think why they even care about crypto at all SEC is not your friend and neither are any of the banks involved in the ETF They don’t want you to own Bitcoin but they want to make sure that they can 🙃 https://x.com/watcherguru/status/1745197583780168066?s=46

Can you explain to me the mechanism by which the existence of Bitcoin ETFs leads to my not being able to own Bitcoin?

It’s not existence of ETFs but rather the statements made by SEC They legitimatized Bitcoin ETF yet made sure to write a statement that Bitcoin itself is used for illicit behavior and they did not condone it Their message is to scare mainstream users away from Bitcoin unless they get its exposure through a bank
