Sometimes I wish the ethos of Farcaster were way more connected to the reality of crypto, which in the USA is currently quite tumultuous and volatile, rather than always exhibiting the rah-rah happy go-lucky disposition of the founders / tech optimists that congregate here, which can be tiresome and disingenuous.

It’s not a bunch of naive 1st timers, it’s brutally rational people celebrating wins because most startups die by suicide, not homicide.

Entirely possible. And if that’s really what Farcaster fundamentally is at least right now, then it’s not super useful for me
