Should just be built into the transfer() function. EIP-2981 was bound to fail.

I think it is not that easy. There is no reliable way for the code determine a transfer being a sale, transfer between owner’s wallet, or a loan collateral (later 2 should be free). And there are marketplaces that execute the transaction off-chain.

It is legitimate for owner to move their NFTs for security, consolidation, or whatever reason they want. It doesn’t make sense for BAYC owners to pay $2,500 when they move wallets, right? Then, how the contract prevent marketplaces pretending to be wallets moving?
