when people find out I'm a subtitle translator, they often ask what my fave project was
I'd say there were many of them but Larva Island was quite an outstanding one
barely any dialogue, maybe 2 words per episode
rest was just grunts, farts, chaos (all of that is not subtitled ofc)
but we got paid by runtime, not volume
and it was a rush job too
so yeah... got paid extra to listen to worm noises
no complaints whatsoever 💸💛
