about a month ago, we unknowingly started a new family tradition and it’s quickly become one of the highlights of our week

every saturday, the four of us head to the gym together. my wife, our 10yo, and I each go to our own training sessions, while our 5yo hangs out in the kids’ playroom

when we’re done, we head to the swimming pool for some splashing, playing, and laughing. no workouts, no distractions, just having fun.

and then comes the cherry on top: a stop at the gym’s cafe for ice cream.

yesterday it's has been the 4th time like that already and it is insanely cool

simple things, really, but together they turn each saturday into something special

I translate movies, co-own a loss-making fast-food joint, and raise two kids

haha, well, the 10yo is probably the blue one, the 5yo is the rainbow colored. between two others I'm probably the dark and yelling at everyone around 😆

Which of the dinosaurs are you? 😄 Family fun time is priceless. That’s what we live for.
