Neovim, but I use IntelliJ with vim bindings for work

NeoVim nowadays. After years of using Emacs I migrated to VSCode for sheer convenience. Couple of weeks ago I discovered LazyVim and I’ve been blown away by how fast and functional it is.

Or do you need to ssh first and then start an editor session?

Besides Emacs, which ones can edit files remotely via ssh?

Have you ever considered neovim as a lua based modernized scripting ecosystem?

I cut my teeth on vim so nothing else makes sense to me and I can’t stop won’t stop

Helix is my go to these days for terminal editors.

For quick edits I like micro. Plenty of sensible defaults and a like more modern than nano
