Anyone have a suggestion for hydroponic kitchen herb setup?

For things like basil, chives, scallions etc

I’ve heard of things like aero and gardyn, and would also be curious about DIY options

I have a client who has a bunch of the aerogarden. My brother has a complicated diy system inside on old fridge where he can grow tomato’s etc. 

I think if I went for it, I’d do the aerogarden. But currently I keep my herbs on our porch over the winter and they seem to be fine.
