the "1000 true fans" is a theory coined by Kevin Kelly, it goes like this: - a true fan is someone that will follow you anywhere and buy/explore anything you put out there - you only need a 1000 true fans to have a lifetime sustainable revenue here is the original article: https://kk.org/thetechnium/1000-true-fans/

Many years ago an entrepreneur told me that "you only need eight good customers to make it. Not hundreds or thousands. Just eight good ones." Not absolutely true for every business, but relatively true for all of them. AF channels included. Quality over quantity.
