Tips for builders amidst bearish sentiment in the broader market:
1. Don’t think about price
This is an obvious one. Trust in what you’re building and understand that price is but a lagging indicator of social utility.
2. Study history
Mt Gox got hacked, the ICO bubble popped, the historic COVID drop happened, the NFT mania popped. LUNA had a death spiral. FTX literally conned people. Despite all of this, we are still here. Why? Because builders, no better than you, kept going. Keep. Going.
3. Pay close attention to community members that remain active.
Make a note of who they are, and make sure they feel appreciated. A simple message of thanks goes a long way.
4. Slow down.
Underrated, but a downwards market can give you time to feel less rushed. Take a step back and think about where you’re heading. If your vision is clear from the start, you will be fine — but sometimes, momentum in the markets can make one act rashly; a retrace is a good time to readjust to level headedness. 4 replies
