kinda wish i used my steam deck more — but it seems like i enjoy customizing, modding, and installing stuff on it more than actually playing any games, lol.

Haha yeah I don’t game as much as I’d like but I love the device and whenever I pick it up I have a lot of fun. What do you like to play mostly?

Yeah! I have the OLED model. A few years ago I sold my desktop gaming pc and I had been eying a steam deck forever then I got a lil windfall airdrop and bought the OLED on presale. It’s a beast for emulation, though I also have an Analog Pocket and a cheap little ambernic so I kind of split my emulation between Gameboy on the Pocket, NES → PS1 on the Ambernic, and PS2/Gamecube and beyond on the Steamdeck. Actually beat Windwaker HD for WiiU recently on my deck. Tony Hawk is awesome. I got Steep on a massive sale a while back. It’s like 1080 Snowboarding and Jet Set Radio Future had a baby. Super fun. And speaking of Jet Set, have you played Bomb Rush CyberFunk? Such a great homage to JSRF. My other go to is Stardew Valley. If you just want to decompress, that’s a gem. There’s a similar game that came out recently called Luma Island that looks fun. And if you like RPGs, check out Sea of Stars. Basically a love letter to Chrono Trigger.
