we need to see more independent musicians thrive in web3. the music industry screams for new ways of monetization, but nothing truly groundbreaking has happened in the past years. that's something i think about often, and i'm still yet to find the answers for what can be done about it.

We need a real product to connect listeners with music creators. Spotify is music product #1 for daily users but it barely pays to creators. At least YouTube has more decent monetization mechanisms. Also, I haven't seen a product that solves IRL music events, ticket sales, collectables and fan interaction.

exactly, there's a gap that needs to be filled...it's just hard to come up with a good and doable system for it. treating listeners more as collectors is an interesting approach, imo.
