still feeling weird about how channels work on farcaster. a few things that make it frustrating: Ā· memberships lock exploration: instead of encouraging me to explore new channels, the membership system made me stick to the ones i'm already in. Ā· managing pinned frames is annoying: i need to keep the frame pinned in /groupies so people can join, meaning i can't pin other casts to the channel for visibility. Ā· notifications are easy to miss: i never check the channel notifications tab, a friend had to message me to finally see and accept their invite. Ā· posting friction: tried posting in /nature yesterday but wasn't able to since i wasn't a member ā the process of going to the channel, finding how to join, then coming back to write the cast again is too much, so it's easier to cast no-channel instead. am i doing something wrong here, or is this a shared experience? i miss the old farcaster, where i could just explore and post freely in different channels.

have you seen @modbot ? and I think there is another option but I don't remember the name - you can make the "join" link into the official channel link up in the channel info, and then that will free up your pinned post to be other fun things

yeah that's actually what i'm using, but not sure about that...can i just copy the frame link and paste it on the channel info?

I think you need a link that is not a frame - see what LCT is doing on theirs: https://warpcast.com/~/channel/lifechanger (not sure if they are using the bot or just a link)
