Elon Musk is reportedly interviewing Donald Trump on Twitter tonight in what I presume will be a livestreamed conversation. Trump is said to be planning his return to Twitter after a years-long hiatus that saw him migrate to his own platform, Truth Social. 

This is by no means an endorsement of Trump as a person or president, but I have to say that one of my guilty pleasures over the years was reading his Twitter feed. It was truly one of the zaniest, acerbic, and unconventionally humorous accounts in the history of social media. I can't say it was purely funny, as it was also disturbing that it was being run by the same insane person who had control of the country's nuclear arsenal. But it offered a window into the psychological evolution of one of the most consequential and strange figures in American history.

Like most people I never bothered following Trump onto Truth Social since it seemed like a waste of time and likely financial scam. But if he starts Tweeting again I will probably be reading them.
