problem: nouns won't have discord soon, but no one looks at discourse insight: people look when things go onchain, because ETH is at stake solution: force discussion by creating a contract with 2 nouns that auto-submits any proposal after 7 days, provided it's asking for less than 1% of treasury and no code changes

seems at least... chaotic neutral, if not possibly beneficial in lowering friction for builders and giving voters an incentive (or a burden) to vote

My feeling with this is we'd just see fewer things get to quorum I think ETH being at stake is only part of the reason ppl look at things on chain. The other imo is it's a strong curtain signal. Getting 2 Noun votes + putting up social capital to go on-chain is a strong filter vs a tweet / discourse post

ppl don't look at discourse b/c there's no curation. imagine a subreddit without any up/down votes, that's what discourse is. hopeful @brianj solves this soon with discourse killer.

Perpetual Prop House solves for this with larger Props as well. Prop is auto approved at some high % of voters but open ended to drum up support.

I think the idea is more opinionated spaces will replace the official discord not just discourse

looking at solving this problem via www.dispatch.forum - idea being what if the forum itself was a smart contract that could trigger things like proposals. we’re doing this on solana.
