but (until the dao is fully captured) its also possible to explore other dao immune systems mechanics to combat arbers, eg slashing or ragekick

Yeah I think Krel’s summarized my position pretty well - I do think there’s a potential of a repeat, but it’s not so obvious that we need to be pre-empt it. 

Rather focus our energy on enjoying and building until the need for défense is evident

I can’t help but feel like that “need for defence is evident” moment was like 9 months ago.
