It becomes a slippery slope on the well intend road to hell if a few more dominate apps pile onto this ‘standard’. The new social credit agencies will be in the hands of a few big cos. This isn’t the future I’m building towards. 

Much rather see signed & independently verifiable self labeling as a first class protocol feature vs this well intended yet very close to the path to hell (censorship). web of trust vs my algo said you’re shit
