100%. Was talking about this with @cojo.eth & others in the Ponder Group Chat.

So established people get better reach casting into no channel and just putting it out there.
Less reach going into a channel.

So they'll be less likely to use channels.

Meanwhile new people will get spam labeled for commenting on unchanneled casts of people who aren't following them, and are not likely to be seen/discovered/engaged with posting in channels...

wish channels could be better utilized for this, difficult to cast to home right off the bat
