Something clicked yesterday when watching college football: more founders should be thinking about their users as an extension of their team. The actually company operates as a staff with leadership roles (ceo, cto etc.) as HC, coordinators and lower level roles as position coaches. Every decision by the staff impacts how the team (users) operate and ultimately the success. The best staff gets the most out of their team. The best company gets the most out of their users. It’s talked about a good amount but can’t be reiterated enough. Talk to your users everyday.

When we think of a football team, we draw the boundary around the coaching staff and the players But when we think of a product, we draw the boundary around the company and exclude the users I think it’s because historically the users got shafted in relation to the company (same way players didn’t use to get paid) That needs to change first before the boundary shifts — and it *will* with crypto
