I think a lot of devs overestimate how much people want to use chat interfaces for everything, even if it’s now possible (or at least easier) thanks to LLMs

I’ve been struggling with this. I kind of agree

But also the most eye opening thing for me when it comes to AI stuff is how willing people are using chat inferences for everything. But maybe it’s just loud minority.

I think a good use case for AI is “ask me anything” via chat (Google 2.0) but I don’t think that’s how AI should manifest in most other products

Linear is a good example of this: it’s well-integrated in places where it makes sense and can be useful
